Whataburger Menu Prices (Updated: March 2023)

The original Whataburger opened in Corpus Christi, Texas, more than 70 years ago, with the intention of delighting hungry customers with their enormous, flavorful burgers produced entirely of pure beef (via Whataburger).

The restaurant has expanded its menu beyond burgers over the years while maintaining excellent standards and keeping customers intrigued.

While this list includes every single Whataburger menu item, we have tried to help you with the most popular one that you must consider. Whataburger offers a wide variety of delectable foods.

On the other hand, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich should be avoided at all costs. This isn’t even close to being edible. After the first bite, you’ll know you’ve made a severe mistake.

You might be able to take another bite or two, but your taste senses will be asking you to throw in the towel and abandon this awful sandwich. You might be tempted to order the Breakfast Platter if you stop at Whataburger first early in the morning and are ravenous.

It’s a vast selection of food that appears to be enough to fill you up to the brim. Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief, bigger isn’t necessarily better. Yes, there’s a lot of food in the lunch, but it’s all completely forgettable.

Whataburger’s Mushroom Swiss Burger appears to be a safe bet. You’ve most likely tried similar hamburgers at other major fast-food establishments and been satisfied with your choice. Unfortunately, Whataburger’s version is simply not up to par.

In fact, it’d be challenging to find a worse one in the fast-food realm. So without looking any further, let us have a look at Whataburger Menu Prices 2023.

Whataburger History

Whataburger Menu Prices & History

Paul Burton and Harmon Dobson wanted to start a hamburger joint in 1950. Dobson received the trademark for Whataburger in June of 1950. They opened their first facility in August of that year in Texas and slowly gained popularity.

First, they only sold burgers at low prices and gave free chips with the meal. However, after a year, both the partners decided to separate their paths on some disagreement on specific decisions mostly it was related to the price of the burgers.

Burton owned the store of Whataburger locations in San Antonio, Texas, and decided to increase the price. On the other hand, Dobson started a new eatery in Texas.

After a few years, he added a lot of small tea-time snacks to their menu and kept the price extremely reasonable. This was probably the best move he made. Whataburger did not include any new items and eventually started losing its popularity.

By 1960, they both again merged, and the company had opened outlets in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. They added many new items like French fries, hot pies, shakes, and other excellent and delicious snack items.

With time, the restaurant was trendy because of its freshly cooked items and low price. Now, it has spread all over the States, and people always choose this for their quality.

It has been found that sometimes, Whataburger even exceeded McDonald’s in terms of business. This is an outstanding achievement of this small restaurant that dreamt of being big.
