With the exception of Taco Bell, Chipotle is the healthiest fast-food alternative. If you don’t want anything artificial in your food, this is the place for you. You also won’t find anything like microwaves or freezers, or even can openers.
When there are 53 different items available, how can you decide what to choose at Chipotle? To make it easier for you to plan your next Chipotle purchase, we have categorized some special items so that your choice becomes easy and super yummy.
Chipotle’s extensive list of ingredients means you’ll be able to try something new every week. Decide on your meal’s foundation first. A conventional burrito or a trio of tacos are excellent choices for a filling meal to go.
Try a burrito bowl if you’re not a fan of tortillas. Salads and even bowls can be customized to meet your dietary needs for a lighter meal. You can be a vegetarian or a vegan by following one of these diets: Keto, Paleo, Whole30, or High Protein.
Toppings and ingredients can be added after the format has been established. Deciding between the various ingredients, such as marinated meats, fajita veggies, sofritas, a wide range of beans and rice, and the various salsas and other toppings, can be difficult.

History
Chipotle Mexican Grill was established in Denver, Colorado, in 1993 by Steve Ells. The Nahuatl/Mexican term for a smoked, dried jalapeno chili pepper inspired the name Chipotle.
The company’s founder, Steve Ells, attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He next worked at Jeremiah Tower in Stars in San Francisco as a line cook.
The very first Chipotle establishment in Denver, Colorado, was built in 1993 by Ells with an $85,000 father-daughter loan near the University of Denver campus using what he learned in San Francisco.
If a business sells 107 burritos each day, Mr. and Mr. Ells would be successful. Despite this, within a month of opening the original restaurant, it sold over 1,000 burritos each day.
However, after seeing the success of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Ells changed his plans and instead invested in opening a fine-dining establishment with money from the first Chipotle.
On July 29th, 2016, the company announced that its first Tasty Made burger restaurant would debut in the fall of that year. Chipotle continued to sell despite the several viral outbreaks.
In addition, the number of new locations for the year was being reduced from 235 to 220 by the corporation. Chipotle had more than 2,400 locations in the U.S. by 2017.
According to Chipotle, franchising is a waste of time and money since it limits its ability to set the atmosphere for employee culture and upholds its commitment to using locally sourced foods.
In May 2018, Chipotle announced that it would be moving its corporate headquarters from Denver to Newport Beach, California in Southern California, breaking a 25-year link.
Chipotle’s crew is made up of a board of directors and a corporate office with managers who work remotely. The audit, pay, and nomination, and corporate governance committees all have members from both teams.
