Brio Tuscan Grille is a restaurant company founded by Rick and Chris Doody in 1992 in Columbus, Ohio. Since then, Brio has been on a journey to provide the world’s finest dining experience.
Today, Rick and Chris are leading their team into the future with the vision of creating restaurant experiences that communicate joy through food and wine culture.
Brio Tuscan Grille was named one of the “Best 100 Restaurant Chains” by Nation’s Restaurant News in 2016. They also received the “Outstanding Wine Program” award by the James Beard Foundation.
Brio Tuscan Grille has also been named to “Wine Spectator’s” Top 100 Wine Restaurants list and is renowned for its extensive wine offerings and extensive wine education program.
In 2015, Chris’ son, Nicholas Doody, joined as Vice President of Culinary Development and recently developed a groundbreaking new menu since joining Brio.
Nicholas’ first big project was creating the Maestro Pasta menu featuring unique pasta creations, custom pastas and a personal wine pairing for each guest.
Brio’s next step of innovation was its invention of the Brio Burger, a chargrilled burger patty that is made from high-quality proprietary Angus beef and bun that are baked on the flat-top grill to create a mouthwatering burger patty with an almost steak knife like consistency.
